Micro Provident Swaziland is a Swaziland registered company and was registered in 2005 and its holding company is Micro Provident Botswana. It is governed by the Money Lending Act of 1996. It commenced trading on the 02/11/2006. MPSwaziland, as its trading name, mandate is
- to be an alternative financial institution in Swaziland ,
- to contribute to the economic development, provide affordable financial assistance with reasonable payment terms,
- to adhere to good corporate citizenship through visible social responsibility
Products and Services
For us to start lending we need to have an agreement with the employer with regard to payroll deduction, this also serves as a security to us, then a signed agreement between the employee and us.
MPSwaziland offers a minimum loan of E1000 to a maximum of E40000 with a period from 6months to 36 months. The installment payable depends on the amount of money borrowed and the period.
Qualifying Criteria.
- Have to be a government civil servant
- Must have two latest salary advice slips
- Must produce a one month bank statement
- Must produce an valid Identity Card
- Must have graded tax certificate
Distribution
MPSwaziland has two branches currently; one in Mbabane and Manzini.The one in Manzini acts as a head office.
