LETSHEGO was the first micro lending company to be established in Botswana and is still the leading provider of unsecured credit to Batswana. LETSHEGO was established to provide unsecured loans to formally employed clients. The company commenced trading in September 1998 after being incorporated in March of the same year. In September 2002 the company was listed on the Botswana Stock Exchange. The company deals directly with its clients who are employees of the central and local governments, parastatals or quasi government and some private companies.
